alpha innotec is a brand of the Dimplex Thermal Solutions group and sells heat pumps in Switzerland through qualified installers. The luxtronik controller supports integrating a third-party boiler as a backup heat source and automatically coordinates the operation of both systems.

For the hybrid setup, alpha innotec recommends setting the bivalence temperature between minus 5 and minus 10 degrees, so the heat pump handles most of the heating load and the boiler only kicks in during extreme cold.
