The Vaillant hybrid solution pairs the aroTHERM plus with a sensoCOMFORT controller that calculates in real time which heat source works out cheaper. The heat pump runs preferentially in its efficient temperature range, while the gas boiler steps in during extreme cold or peak load.
In Switzerland, the hybrid package is installed through the Swiss specialist partner network. Vaillant provides its own planning tool and sizing aids for the hybrid system. Reference projects on the Swiss website, including one in Davos at 1600 meters, show it also suits demanding locations.
