The aroTHERM plus was designed as an air-to-water heat pump for renovation projects. Vaillant states that the unit still reaches a flow temperature of 60 degrees at an outdoor temperature of minus 15 degrees. That makes it appealing for houses built between the 1960s and 1990s, which often heat with higher flow temperatures.
In Switzerland, Vaillant is widely available through its partner network. The aroTHERM plus comes in various output sizes from 3.5 to 15 kilowatts, allowing it to be matched to different building sizes. For older buildings, Vaillant always recommends an exact heating load calculation before planning.
