The Stiebel Eltron WWK hot water heat pump comes in several tank sizes from 200 to 500 liters, making it suitable for anything from a single-family home to a medium sized property. It can be installed as a replacement for an electric boiler, but it needs a sufficiently large, ventilated space to sit in.
An SG Ready function lets the unit automatically switch on heating when solar power is available. The WWK can also work alongside a heating heat pump, stepping in during summer months when the heating pump isn't running. In Switzerland, the unit is available through Stiebel Eltron's Platinum partner network.
