The Vaillant uniSTOR air is a compact hot water heat pump with a built in buffer tank. It's designed to sit in a cellar or a ventilated utility room and doesn't need an outside air duct as long as the room is large enough. An optional duct connection lets you route the exhaust air outside if needed.
Compared to an electric hot water boiler, the unit cuts electricity use by roughly two thirds. Vaillant is represented in Switzerland through its partner network, and the uniSTOR comes in tank sizes from 200 to 300 liters, sized for households of 3 to 6 people.
