Fronius inverters such as the Symo GEN24 include an interface called Smart Energy, which links compatible heat pumps (from brands including NIBE, Stiebel Eltron and Vaillant) directly to solar output. The inverter sends a signal to the heat pump whenever there's surplus solar power, prompting it to ramp up heating or hot water production.
Fronius is present on the Swiss market through a network of authorized installation partners. The Swiss website lists specialist dealers and offers technical documentation, remote maintenance tools and the Solar.web data service. Planners can access Fronius's sizing tools free of charge.
