Förderung Kanton Graubünden

The energy office of the canton of Graubünden handles the awarding of energy funding contributions. For heating replacement with heat pumps, whether air-to-water or ground-source, both flat-rate and performance-based contributions are available. The funding for ground-source systems matters especially in mountain regions, where air-to-water units run less efficiently because of low outdoor temperatures.

Applications must be submitted before construction begins. The office reviews the documents and issues an approval before the system can be built. For larger renovation projects, the office recommends an early preliminary inquiry.
