Pronovo AG is a subsidiary of Swissgrid and manages, on behalf of the federal government, the funding for renewable energy under the Energy Act. For homeowners who run a photovoltaic system alongside their heat pump, Pronovo is the point of contact for the one-off payment (Einmalvergütung, EIV).
Pronovo does not fund the heat pump itself, but combining the solar one-off payment with a cantonal heating-replacement contribution can meaningfully cut the total investment. The Pronovo website lists current waiting lists, subsidy rates and application forms for PV systems.
