EKZ Energiecontracting

EKZ plans, builds, finances and operates heating and cooling solutions under energy contracting, working across Switzerland. The system belongs to EKZ, the owner pays by consumption, and no capital of their own needs to be tied up. The scope runs from analysis and system selection through construction and commissioning to energy management, monitoring and maintenance. Contract terms and financing are worked out individually.

Sources include air, geothermal and groundwater, complemented by wood-fired systems, wastewater heat recovery and district heating networks. Photovoltaics, storage and charging infrastructure can be integrated where needed. Projects range from a single apartment building through larger properties and industrial buildings to entire districts. The contracting business has run since 1997, and this division is based in Dietikon.
